Several months ago about a dozen close friends of mine were kind enough to talk with me about their concerns surround our changing climate and the future of our planet.
Some were hopeful. Some were not. Some were already taking actions in their daily lives. Some didn't know where to start.
There were many different points of view and different walks of life represented in these conversations. But there was something almost everyone had in common.
No one wanted to see the world degrade any further, but no one that I talked to felt that they could do very much to stop that degradation. There was a feeling of helplessness woven through every conversation.
But helplessness won't get us where we need to go. Helplessness won't help the planet or us.
This feeling of helplessness is also a myth.
After speaking with all these wonderful women, I went deep down the rabbit hole looking for answers to their questions (and mine).
I was delighted to find actual solutions being implemented by regular, everyday people. I was thrilled to see that there are pockets of people everywhere on this planet that are taking action - and their actions are making a difference.
So, I made it my goal to bring this information back to the original group of women I spoke with and share it with anyone else who is interested.
I've put everything together into what I like to call "The 7-Day Eco Challenge".
For one week, we'll meet live for 45 minutes per day and talk about one big issue, what's driving it, and what we can all do to help. The event is totally free.
You don't have to start wearing hemp or move to the country to "live off the land" to make a difference. These are simple, cheap (often free) actions that we can all take to help out.
This challenge will go well beyond just recycling or voting for pro-climate leaders. This challenge will present solutions and ideas that you probably haven't thought of before - and that can have a large and lasting effect.
Interested?
Awesome.
